HotelsVetted is an independent hotel recommendation platform covering 1,314 destinations across 160 countries. We help travelers choose the right neighborhood first, then the right hotel. Every pick is vetted based on location, value, and experience.

## Business Model
We earn affiliate commissions from booking links. Hotels cannot buy placement. All recommendations are based on our honest assessment.

## Vetted Score System
Hotels rated 1-10 based on three weighted criteria:
- Location quality (40%): Neighborhood safety, walkability, distance to attractions, public transport, local character
- Value for money (30%): Price vs quality ratio, seasonal pricing, hidden costs, cancellation policies
- Guest experience (30%): Verified guest review analysis across multiple platforms, cleanliness, staff quality, room condition
Hotels scoring below 8.0 are excluded. Scores are updated quarterly.
