Robert's Grove is one of the most established resorts on the Placencia Peninsula, located just north of the main village with a long stretch of private beach. The resort has two pools, a full-service dive shop, and a marina, making it popular with divers heading to the outer atolls. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed, though some in the older wing are showing their age. The on-site restaurant serves good food with consistent quality. Chabil Mar Villas
Chabil Mar sits on the beachfront just south of Placencia Village and consistently draws strong reviews for its service and presentation. The villas are genuinely spacious with full kitchens, living areas, and large porches facing the sea. The beach here is one of the better stretches on the peninsula, calm and relatively wide. Staff are attentive without being intrusive, which is a balance many resorts in Belize get wrong. Laru Beya is a well-run beachfront resort on the northern end of the Placencia Peninsula with a wide, quiet beach and a relaxed atmosphere. Turtle Inn is owned by Francis Ford Coppola and delivers one of the most polished resort experiences in Belize, set on a beautiful stretch of beach just south of Placencia Village.
