Situated in the Crater district of Aden, the historic volcanic bowl surrounded by rugged cliffs, this hotel puts you close to the old bazaar and the Tanks of Aden cisterns. Rooms are mid-range in quality with decent beds and reliable hot water. The outdoor seating area has views toward the harbor on clear days. The Golden Marib sits in New Marib city and serves primarily as a base for visitors to the ancient Sabaean ruins nearby. Rooms are clean and air-conditioned, a genuine relief in the desert heat. The hotel can arrange guided transport to the Bar'an Temple and the old Marib Dam ruins. Food in the dining room is hearty and plentiful, leaning heavily on grilled meats and rice.
