Rates run $190-245/night, which is fair for what you get.
Skip the idea of staying in Nueva Córdoba for a romantic trip. It's a student neighborhood. Fun, cheap, great food on Avenida Hipólito Yrigoyen, but the noise level on a Friday night is not what you want if you're celebrating an anniversary. Go Centro, spend the extra $40/night, and thank yourself later.
Cordoba with kids: the neighborhoods that actually work
Cerro de las Rosas is the right call for families. It's a 10-minute drive from the Jardín Zoológico de Córdoba and Parque Sarmiento's 150 hectares of green space, playgrounds, and the rowing lake. Apart Hotel Quatro gives you a full kitchen and living area from $145-200/night, which makes a 5-night family trip genuinely manageable.

Booking near the Estación de Omnibus on Bulevar Juan B. Justo because it 'sounds convenient.' It's not. The bus terminal area is noisy, has poor restaurant options, and sits 30 minutes on foot from anything worth seeing. We've seen this mistake hundreds of times and it ruins the first day of otherwise great trips.
The second mistake: assuming all 'Centro' hotels are equal. Cordoba's Centro is large. A hotel on Calle Buenos Aires near the Mercado Norte is a very different experience from one on Calle Deán Funes near the Manzana Jesuítica. and they might both legally call themselves Centro. Always check the exact address on a map before you book.
