Elysium Hotel
The Elysium Hotel in Paphos is a polished, garden-set property right on the Mediterranean, and it earns its five-star billing through genuine range and quality. You're four minutes' walk from the Tombs of the Kings, which makes it easy to mix culture into your stay without any real effort. Rooms run from refined doubles up to airy villas, and every one comes with marble bathrooms, a balcony or terrace, minibar, and tea and coffee kit. Upgrade if you can. Sea views and private pools are worth it. The beach is private, there are two outdoor pools (one adults-only, a good call), and the spa is consistently one of the most-praised things guests mention. Multiple restaurants and bars mean you're never stuck eating the same meal twice. Kids get their own club, and diving lessons are on offer, so the hotel keeps active guests genuinely busy. If you want calm, the adults-only pool is your answer. It's a confident, well-rounded property that rarely puts a foot wrong.

The Blue Ivy Hotel & Suites
The Blue Ivy Hotel & Suites is a polished, upscale property in Protaras, Cyprus, with an airy modern feel that manages to stay calm rather than corporate. You're a short walk from Sunrise Beach, so mornings here have a genuinely unhurried rhythm. Cape Greco National Forest Park and Sculpture Park are both reachable if you want to get out and explore. Rooms and suites come with balconies, flat-screen TVs, minibars, and tea and coffee facilities. Suites add living areas, and some even include video games, a nice touch. There are two restaurants on-site plus a poolside bar, so you won't feel trapped eating the same meal twice. The outdoor pool has a dedicated kids' pool alongside it, which tells you this place is comfortable for families. A spa and gym round out the on-site options nicely. Bike rentals mean you can cover the area at your own pace. Parking is free, which is worth knowing if you're driving. One honest note: with this many amenities, it can feel busy at peak times, so book early if you want the quieter end of the experience.

Aweso Limassol
Aweso Limassol keeps things grounded and no-nonsense, sitting on Megalou Alexandrou in the heart of Limassol, Cyprus. The vibe is calm and self-sufficient, and that's clearly what guests are coming for. You get a kitchen in your space, so you're not dependent on hotel dining for every meal. There's a bar on-site when you do want a drink without going far. Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and parking all land well here, which matters more than it sounds in a busy coastal city. The airport shuttle takes the guesswork out of arrivals and departures. If you're traveling with kids, the property is explicitly kid-friendly, and the accessible facilities mean it works for guests with mobility needs too. Laundry is covered both ways, self-service or full-service, depending on how hands-on you want to be. Bicycle rental is a genuinely useful touch for getting around Limassol without a car. Our honest caveat: with no detailed description available, go in with open eyes and confirm specifics directly with the property before booking.

Leonardo Crystal Cove Hotel & Spa by the Sea
Leonardo Crystal Cove Hotel & Spa by the Sea sits right on the Mediterranean coast in Protaras, Cyprus, and it carries an upscale, adults-only feel throughout. The property earns its four stars without much argument. You're a 13-minute walk from Konnos Beach, 3 km from Cape Greco National Forest Park, and 65 km from Larnaca International Airport if you're flying in. Rooms come with balconies or terraces, flat-screen TVs, minifridges, and tea and coffee facilities, and some look straight out to sea. Suites add separate living rooms, and select upgraded rooms include outdoor whirlpool tubs, which is a genuine step up. Dining is a real strength here: three restaurants cover Italian and Asian options alongside the main buffet, and two bars keep things going after dinner. The pool setup is calm and unhurried, with both indoor and outdoor options plus a hot tub. Guests consistently flag the pool, spa, and breakfast as highlights. If you need a car, self-parking is on site. One honest caveat: the adults-only policy is a firm line, so plan accordingly.

Valide Hanım Konak
Valide Hanım Konak sits inside the Walled Old City of Lefkoşa, and that address alone sets the tone. This is a three-star property with real character, the kind of place that feels calm and unhurried rather than slick and corporate. Guests consistently praise the breakfast, so arrive hungry and give yourself time to enjoy it. Wi-Fi is solid, air conditioning works, and there's parking on site. Those three things sound basic, but in an old city setting they matter more than you'd think. The restaurant means you're not forced out the door for every meal. The hotel is kid-friendly, which is worth knowing if you're traveling with little ones. The Walled Old City is walkable and full of life, so you'll want to spend time on foot exploring beyond the hotel. Our honest caveat: with no detailed room descriptions available, we'd recommend contacting the hotel directly before booking if specific room features matter to you.

Mercure Larnaca Finikoudes Beach
Mercure Larnaca Finikoudes Beach sits in the Skala neighborhood of Larnaca, Cyprus, and carries a calm, unhurried feel that suits the city's coastal pace. It's a three-star property, but the guest satisfaction here runs genuinely high. The on-site restaurant and bar mean you won't need to venture out for every meal, and breakfast is served buffet-style, so mornings can be as relaxed or as purposeful as you like. Room service keeps things flexible when you'd rather stay put. Getting around is easy: the hotel offers an airport shuttle, a private car service, car rental on-site, and bicycle rental if you prefer to explore at your own speed. Practical touches like currency exchange, baggage storage, full-service laundry, and turndown service add a polish you don't always find at this star level. There's also boutique shopping on-site for a browse between activities. The property is kid-friendly, so traveling with children isn't an afterthought here. One honest note: no pool is listed among the amenities, despite it ranking high in guest mentions, so confirm directly before you book if that's a priority.

Amavi, MadeForTwo Hotels
Amavi sits right on the beach in Kato Paphos, and it's unapologetically built for couples. The resort is beachfront, luxurious, and makes no secret of its romantic focus. Rooms come with flat-screen TVs, minibars, and tea and coffee facilities, and most have balconies facing the ocean. If you want more space, upgraded suites add sitting areas, verandas, and rain showers. Cabanas with private plunge pools and gardens are there if you want real seclusion. The outdoor pool is flanked by palm trees and feels unhurried. Four restaurants cover real range, from a relaxed buffet to rooftop dining on the fancier end. There are also several bars, plus room service if you'd rather stay in. Golf, tennis, snorkeling, and scuba diving round out the activity options. Paphos Castle is 2 km away, and the archaeological park at Kato Paphos is 3 km out. The airport is 17 km from the property, so arrival is painless. If you're not travelling as a couple, this probably isn't your place.

King Jason Protaras
King Jason Protaras sits right in the heart of Protaras, a polished all-inclusive that earns its four-star billing. You're a short walk from Fig Tree Bay Beach, and a few minutes more gets you to a commercial strip with shops and restaurants. The setup here is generous: four outdoor pools, including one adults-only, plus a full spa, gym, and a terrace with Mediterranean Sea views. Meals and drinks are covered at two restaurants and three bars, all included in the rate. Rooms are chic and practical, with flat-screen TVs, minifridges, tea and coffeemaking facilities, and furnished balconies. Many look out over the sea. Suites add a living room with a sofabed if you need the extra space. Parking is complimentary, and the hotel offers both an airport shuttle and a local shuttle. The vibe is calm and well-run, with a crowd that clearly appreciates a smooth all-inclusive experience. If you want to leave the property, Fig Tree Bay is right there waiting.

Royal Apollonia by Louis Hotels
Royal Apollonia by Louis Hotels sits on the Limassol coastline overlooking Akrotiri Bay, and it carries itself with the quiet confidence of a well-run five-star property. The location is genuinely useful: you're within walking distance of Limassol's bars and nightclubs, yet the hotel feels calm and unhurried. Limassol Castle is 6 km away if you want a half-day of history. Rooms come with balconies, flat-screens, safes, and minibars, and upgraded options add terraces with hot tubs. Suites step it up further with living rooms and whirlpool baths. Three restaurants all have terraces and sea views, covering both Greek and Japanese cuisine, which is a better spread than most hotels this size manage. The lagoon-style pool with its own bar sets a relaxed tone, and the spa adds an indoor pool, gym, sauna, and massages. Babysitting is available on-site, which makes this a practical pick for parents traveling with young children. Our honest caveat: with this many amenities, you'll want to book spa time early. It gets busy for good reason.

Nissi Beach Resort (hotel)
Nissi Beach Resort sits right on Nissi Beach in Ayia Napa, with the Mediterranean Sea as its front yard. It's a polished, four-star operation that feels genuinely unhurried despite offering a lot. Rooms come with balconies, flat-screens, minifridges, and tea and coffeemaking equipment, so you're comfortable from the moment you arrive. Upgrade to a bungalow and you get a terrace, sea views, and a sitting area. Dining here is no afterthought: there are five options in total, including an international buffet restaurant with a sea-view terrace, a Mediterranean eatery overlooking the beach, three bars, and beachfront snack bars. Two pools, a spa, tennis, a gym, and a kids' club mean you can fill days without leaving the property. Beach access is direct, and the resort is close to WaterWorld water park and Cape Greco National Forest Park if you want to venture out. All-inclusive is available, which makes budgeting easy. If you're after a calm, self-contained beach stay rather than a city-exploration base, this one delivers.

היכן לשהות ב Cyprus
השכונה שתבחרו חשובה יותר מהמלון עצמו.
Paphos: More Than Just Ruins
Paphos gets written off as a retiree destination. That's outdated. Kato Paphos, the lower coastal section, has some of the island's best hotels and the Kato Paphos Archaeological Park right on the waterfront. The harbour at the end of Poseidonos Avenue is genuinely pretty at night, lined with decent tavernas rather than tourist traps.
Stay in Kato Paphos or the Tombs of the Kings area for beach access and archaeology within walking distance. Paphos Old Town, up the hill near Apostolou Pavlou Avenue, is better for budget stays and a quieter pace. Skip anything marketing itself as 'near Paphos Airport'. that means 15 kilometres from anywhere interesting.
Limassol: Cyprus's Most Underrated City
Limassol has quietly become the island's most cosmopolitan base. The Amathus coastal strip east of the city centre is where the best hotels sit, including St Raphael Resort and the Four Seasons. You're 20 minutes from the Kourion Archaeological Site and 10 minutes from Limassol Marina.
The Old Town around Anexartisias Street has good restaurants and bar life, but hotel prices here rarely match the quality. Our honest advice: stay in Amathus for the beach and hotel infrastructure, use the city bus line 30 to reach Old Town for evenings. Buses run until around 11pm and cost under $2 per ride.
Ayia Napa: Know What You're Booking Into
Ayia Napa divides sharply in two. The Nissi Avenue strip is full-on club tourism from June through August, with noise until sunrise and hotel prices that spike 40-60% over mid-season rates. Cape Greco Road, on the eastern edge of town toward the national park, is a completely different experience: quieter, cleaner, closer to the peninsula's sea caves.
Families and couples should aim for the Cape Greco Road side. The beaches at Konnos Bay are 15 minutes away by car and consistently rated among the clearest water in Cyprus. Book between April and early June for the same quality at $40-60 less per night than July.
Larnaca: Good Value, Often Overlooked
Larnaca is where the island's main airport is, and most travellers treat it as a transit stop. That's a mistake. The Finikoudes promenade is one of Cyprus's nicest seafront stretches, with the old Venetian fort at one end and the Hala Sultan Tekke mosque visible across the salt lake to the west. Hotel rates here run noticeably cheaper than Paphos or Limassol for equivalent quality.
The Sunflower Hotel on Finikoudes is our best value pick on the island at $60-90/night. You're 5 minutes walk from the Church of Saint Lazarus and right on the palm-lined seafront. If you're flying in and out of Larnaca Airport, building 2 nights here into your trip makes real logistical sense.
The Troodos Foothills: Cyprus's Best Kept Travel Secret
Most visitors never venture inland past the coastal resorts. That's their loss. The Marathasa Valley around Kalopanayiotis is genuinely stunning terrain: vine-covered slopes, Byzantine monasteries, and stone villages that look unchanged for 200 years. The air is cooler than the coast by about 5-8°C, which matters in July and August.
Casale Panayiotis is the only hotel in this guide in the mountains, and it earns its $120-200/night price. The village of Omodos is 40 minutes south by car and worth the trip for the wine and the courtyard at the Timios Stavros Monastery. This region works best as a 2-3 night add-on to a coastal trip, not a standalone base.
How to Book Cyprus Hotels Without Getting Burned
Book directly with hotels between October and March and you'll often get 10-15% off rates listed on booking platforms. Most hotels in Paphos and Limassol have direct booking incentives. free airport transfer, room upgrades, early check-in. We've seen this save travellers $80-120 on a week's stay at mid-range properties.
Watch out for 'sea view' claims in Larnaca and Paphos. In Larnaca especially, some hotels count a sliver of blue between buildings as a sea view and charge $30-50/night extra for it. Always check the exact floor and room number before confirming, or ask the hotel directly which rooms have unobstructed views. The ones that hesitate to answer usually have something to hide.

Paphos 3 מלונות מאומתים Ancient coastline, serious hotels, and the island's most atmospheric evenings.
Ancient coastline, serious hotels, and the island's most atmospheric evenings.
Paphos splits into two zones that feel like different towns. Kato Paphos is the lower coastal area with the archaeological park, the harbour, and most of the good hotels. Paphos Old Town sits higher up near the Paphos Bishop's Palace and moves at a completely different pace.
The Tombs of the Kings UNESCO site is on the northern edge of Kato Paphos, about 20 minutes walk from the harbour. Elysium Hotel sits closest to it, which puts you within walking distance of both the ruins and the coastal path. Almyra Hotel is closer to the harbour and has the stronger design credentials of the two.
Rates here span a wider range than anywhere else on the island: $45/night at Axiothea in the old town up to $280/night at Almyra in Kato Paphos. That spread means almost any traveller can make Paphos work as a base. Just stay on the coastal side if beach access matters to you.

Cyprus's business and pleasure capital, with a coastline that punches above its weight.
Limassol is the most cosmopolitan city in Cyprus and it shows in the hotel quality. The Amathus area, about 12 kilometres east of the city centre along the B1 coastal road, is where both of our vetted picks sit. St Raphael Resort and the Four Seasons are neighbours here, and the stretch of beach between them is well maintained and relatively uncrowded outside August.
The Limassol Wine Festival runs every September in the Municipal Gardens near the Old Port. Hotel prices in Amathus jump 20-30% that week, and rooms book out months ahead. Plan around it or plan for it, but don't ignore it.
Getting between Amathus and the Old Town takes about 25 minutes on bus line 30, which runs regularly from early morning. Taxis are $10-15 for the same journey. The Old Town's Anexartisias Street has better restaurant choices than anything within walking distance of the Amathus hotels.

Two very different coasts. one for families, one for anyone who values a quiet morning.
Larnaca and Ayia Napa are only 40 kilometres apart but cater to completely different travellers. Larnaca's Finikoudes promenade is calm, walkable, and genuinely charming outside July and August. Ayia Napa's reputation as a club destination is earned and accurate for the Nissi Avenue area.
Napa Mermaid Hotel sits on the Cape Greco Road side of Ayia Napa, about 3 kilometres from the main strip. That distance matters more than it sounds. You get Ayia Napa's excellent beaches. Makronissos Beach is 10 minutes by car. without the 3am sound system problems.
Sunflower Hotel in Larnaca's Finikoudes area is our best value pick across all 10 hotels at $60-90/night. Book here if you're cost-conscious and don't need resort facilities. The Larnaca seafront at dusk, with the medieval fort lit up at the southern end, is one of the nicer free experiences in Cyprus.

The quieter, more beautiful Cyprus that most package tourists never find.
This region covers three very different settings. Polis is a small town on the northwest coast, the jumping-off point for Anassa Hotel and the Akamas Peninsula. Pissouri Bay sits on a dramatic clifftop 40 kilometres east of Paphos, with Columbia Beach Resort occupying most of the bay's best frontage. And Kalopanayiotis in the Marathasa Valley is a mountain village that feels entirely removed from coastal Cyprus.
Anassa and Columbia are both in the $160-520/night range and genuinely justify it. These aren't inflated prices for a badge. Anassa looks out over the Latchi fishing harbour from Neo Chorio and has its own beach club 5 minutes below by hotel shuttle. Columbia has one of the few genuinely private bays on the island.
Casale Panayiotis in Kalopanayiotis is the outlier at $120-200/night and worth every euro. You're a 5-minute walk from the UNESCO-listed Agios Ioannis Lampadistis Monastery. Come in October when the valley turns gold and the crowds are gone entirely.

Romantic
Pissouri Bay is the call here. Columbia Beach Resort has a near-private arc of sand with no through traffic and rates that feel justified once you're actually there.
Culture & History
Base yourself in Kato Paphos. The Kato Paphos Archaeological Park and the Tombs of the Kings UNESCO site are both within 25 minutes on foot, and the Byzantine Museum is 15 minutes north in Paphos Old Town.
Family
The Cape Greco Road area of Ayia Napa gives families calm beaches, suite-style rooms at Napa Mermaid, and access to the sea caves at Cape Greco. all without the noise of the main strip.
Budget
Larnaca's Finikoudes promenade keeps costs honest. You're paying $60-90/night at Sunflower Hotel with the seafront and Saint Lazarus Church right outside.
Beach
Latchi Beach near Polis and the Akamas coastline are genuinely the most beautiful beaches in Cyprus. Anassa Hotel in Neo Chorio puts you 10 minutes from the best of them.
Foodie
Limassol's Old Town around Anexartisias Street has the best restaurant concentration on the island. Stay in Amathus and take bus line 30 in for evenings. it costs under $2 and the meze spots near Saripolou Square are worth the trip.
איך בדקנו את המלונות האלה
כל מלון ברשימה זו עבר את אותה הערכה. הנה בדיוק איך אנחנו מדרגים אותם.
We reviewed 2,000+ options across the main regions of Cyprus. Most got cut fast. Common problems: hotels claiming 'beachfront' when they're actually a 15-minute walk from the sand, Ayia Napa party-strip properties marketed as family resorts, and Limassol Old Town hotels charging Amathus prices for half the quality. We also cut anything with a fake review pattern, outdated rooms dressed up with wide-angle photography, or pool bars louder than the lobby.

Summer (June-August)
July and August are brutal in inland Cyprus. temperatures hit 38°C in Nicosia and the Troodos foothills. Coastal breeze helps at beach hotels, but expect packed beaches, $200+ mid-range rooms, and the Ayia Napa strip in full volume. The last week of August coincides with Cypriot public holidays, which drives prices even higher. add 20-30% on top of already-peak rates.
Autumn (September-November)
This is genuinely the best time to visit. September still gets 27-28°C days and warm sea, but the summer crowds are gone and prices drop sharply. The Limassol Wine Festival in September's Municipal Gardens is one of the island's best events. $20 entry covers all the wine you can taste. October is quieter still, and Casale Panayiotis in the Marathasa Valley is at its most atmospheric with the autumn foliage.
Winter (December-February)
Cyprus winters are mild by European standards but the coastal resorts go very quiet. Many smaller hotels in Ayia Napa close entirely from November through March. Paphos and Limassol stay open year-round with genuine city life. You'll find rooms at $50-80/night that cost $180 in summer. great for cultural trips with no interest in beach weather.
Spring (March-May)
Spring is the second-best time to visit. The island turns green and wildflowers cover the Akamas Peninsula from March through April. Sea temperatures reach around 20-22°C by May, warm enough for most swimmers. Easter week is the one exception. it's the biggest Cypriot holiday of the year and prices in Paphos and Limassol jump 40-50% for about 10 days.
איך להזמין מלונות ב Cyprus
אסטרטגיות הזמנה חכמות לCyprus.
Book Anassa and Columbia 3-4 months ahead for summer
Both properties have limited room counts and loyal repeat guests who rebook on checkout. By May, July and August dates at Anassa (Neo Chorio) and Columbia Beach Resort (Pissouri Bay) are typically sold out. For a June stay, book by late February. Direct booking gets you a better room category at the same price.
Don't trust 'beachfront' labels in Larnaca
Several Larnaca hotels use 'beachfront' when they're actually on the Finikoudes pedestrian strip, which runs alongside a narrow beach. It's pleasant but not the wide sandy bay some photos imply. The best swimmable beach near central Larnaca is Mackenzie Beach, about 3 kilometres south of the fort. budget 10 minutes by taxi or $3 on bus 425.
Rent a car for anything outside the main cities
Cyprus public transport is improving but still limited between cities. The INTERCITY BUS network connects Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca, and Nicosia reliably for $5-9 per journey. But Pissouri Bay, the Akamas Peninsula near Latchi, and the Troodos villages are essentially unreachable without a car. Rentals run $25-45/day from Paphos Airport or Larnaca Airport for a compact car.
Avoid the Ayia Napa strip entirely if you're not there for clubs
Nissi Avenue and the blocks around it run 24-hour noise from late June through early September. We're not exaggerating. Hotels within 400 metres of Ayia Napa's main square will have sound until 5am. Napa Mermaid on Cape Greco Road is 3 kilometres east and feels like a different resort entirely. The price difference is minimal. $10-20/night. and it's completely worth it.
Negotiate longer-stay discounts directly with Paphos Old Town hotels
Axiothea Hotel and similar Old Town properties in Paphos will often offer 10-15% off for stays of 5 nights or more if you ask directly via email or phone. This doesn't show up on booking platforms. It's not guaranteed, but we've seen it work consistently between October and April. Send a direct enquiry before booking online.
Watch hotel location relative to Paphos's two zones
Paphos is split between Kato Paphos (lower, coastal, near the harbour and archaeological park) and Paphos Old Town (upper, quieter, inland). The walk between them is about 25-30 minutes uphill. Almyra and Elysium are in Kato Paphos. Axiothea is in the Old Town. They're the same city on paper but very different stays in practice. pick based on whether you want beach access or old-town atmosphere.
שאלות נפוצות על מלונות ב Cyprus
תשובות ישירות מהצוות שלנו.
What's the best area to stay in Cyprus for first-timers?
Kato Paphos is the sweet spot. You're walking distance from the Kato Paphos Archaeological Park, the harbour is 10 minutes on foot, and there's a solid mix of hotels from $60 to $280/night. It's not as chaotic as Ayia Napa or as spread out as Limassol, which makes orientation easy when you're new to the island.
When is the best time to visit Cyprus for good weather without peak crowds?
Late September through October is the best window. Temperatures sit around 25-28°C, the sea is still warm from summer, and hotel prices drop 20-30% compared to July and August. Avoid the last two weeks of August entirely. it's peak Cypriot holiday season and even mid-range rooms in Paphos hit $200+/night.
Is Cyprus expensive for hotels?
It depends entirely on where and when. Budget rooms in Larnaca's Finikoudes neighbourhood start around $60/night, while a sea-view suite at the Four Seasons in Amathus runs $600/night in summer. The honest middle ground is $120-200/night for something genuinely comfortable with a pool, which covers most of our vetted picks.
What's the cheapest decent hotel in Cyprus?
Axiothea Hotel in Paphos Old Town is our budget pick at $45-75/night. It's a short walk from the Paphos Medieval Castle and the old town streets around Apostolou Pavlou Avenue. Don't expect resort amenities, but the rooms are clean, the location is real, and you won't feel ripped off.
Is Ayia Napa worth staying in, or should I just visit for the day?
Ayia Napa works best as a 2-3 night stay, not a base for the whole trip. The strip along Nissi Avenue gets genuinely loud until 4am in July and August, so stay there only if that's what you're after. Our pick, Napa Mermaid Hotel, is positioned near Cape Greco Road rather than the main strip, which makes a real difference. you're 15 minutes from Cape Greco National Forest Park and away from the worst of the noise.
How do I get between hotels in Paphos, Limassol, and Larnaca?
Intercity buses run by INTERCITY BUSES (the green coaches) connect Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca, and Nicosia for around $5-9 per journey. The Paphos to Limassol leg takes about 1 hour 15 minutes and drops you near the Old Port. Taxis between cities are comfortable but expensive. Paphos to Larnaca runs $60-80 depending on the driver.
Which hotels in Cyprus are genuinely romantic, not just marketed as romantic?
Almyra Hotel in Kato Paphos and Columbia Beach Resort in Pissouri Bay are the two that actually earn it. Almyra's infinity pool faces the sea and you're 5 minutes walk from the Paphos harbour at night. Columbia at Pissouri Bay is a private bay setting with almost no passing traffic. it's the quieter of the two, which is why couples keep coming back.
What areas of Cyprus should I avoid when booking a hotel?
The main Nissi Avenue strip in Ayia Napa is rough in peak season. pure party tourism, overpriced rooms, and near-constant noise. In Paphos, avoid hotels on or near Poseidonos Avenue in Kato Paphos that are more than 500 metres from the coastal path, since the area gets loud and the views don't match the prices. Larnaca's inland streets behind Ermou Street look cheap on paper but you'll pay for it in commute time to the beach.
Are there good hotels in the mountains or inland Cyprus?
Casale Panayiotis in Kalopanayiotis is genuinely one of the best stays on the island, not just inland. It sits in the Marathasa Valley, 5 minutes walk from the Kalopanayiotis Sulphur Springs, and the Byzantine church of Agios Ioannis Lampadistis is right next door. Rates run $120-200/night and it books out months ahead in autumn when the valley colours are at their best.
Is Cyprus good for families with young children?
Yes, but pick your base carefully. Napa Mermaid Hotel near Cape Greco Road in Ayia Napa is our family pick. it has proper suites, a kids' pool, and access to the calm sandy beaches near Green Bay which are far better for small children than the exposed stretches near Nissi Beach. Budget around $100-180/night for a family room.
What's the most luxurious hotel in Cyprus?
Four Seasons Hotel Limassol in the Amathus area is the benchmark. Rates start at $280/night and hit $600 in peak July. You're 20 minutes from Limassol Old Town by car, but honestly most guests don't leave much. the private beach, six restaurants, and marina access keep you on-site. It's expensive and worth it.
Is Anassa Hotel really worth the price?
It's $160-320/night and set above Latchi harbour near Neo Chorio in the Akamas Peninsula area, which is easily the most dramatically beautiful part of Cyprus. The drive up from Polis takes about 10 minutes, and the hotel has its own beach club down the cliff. If you can stretch the budget, book it for at least 3 nights. one night doesn't do it justice.
