Cocody is the go-to for most travelers and for good reason. The Riviera area has the best restaurants, the streets around Deux Plateaux are walkable, and hotels here give you access to the lagoon without the gridlock of Plateau. You're 25 minutes from the airport on a good morning.
Plateau is the business district. fine for work trips, less interesting for leisure. Marcory and Zone 4 are worth considering if nightlife matters to you; the strip along Boulevard Valéry Giscard d'Estaing runs late.
