Old Town vs New Town: Making the Right Choice
Old Town is the Edinburgh of films: narrow closes, the Royal Mile from the Castle down to Holyrood Palace, Greyfriars Bobby, and Victoria Street (the inspiration for Diagon Alley). Stockbridge sits in a valley carved by the Water of Leith river. It feels removed from tourist Edinburgh despite being 15 minutes walk from Princes Street.
